Here’s a BRASH idea:  use the heat from your home HVAC system to generate electrical power and supplement - or replace - your home’s demand for grid power. Using one fuel burn to efficiently supply both heat and power nearly cuts your carbon footprint in half.

Your BRASH system will generate power any time your room thermostat calls for heating or cooling.  You can use that power on a “net metering” basis (where permitted by law), or you can store that power in one of the currently emerging home power storage solutions.
